Adopting? Take Your Fat Ass Back to he US

I do admire people who adopt children. It is a very noble cause and there are plenty of kids in the US who need to be adopted. That being said, I start to wonder about people who plan trips to other countries to adopt a child. Trafficking in people is a huge problem worldwide, and I sure as hell wouldn’t want to encourage it or get caught up in it. Additionally, a nation should be concerned about where it’s adopted children are going and if they will be properly taken care of. Luckily, a few countries are doing just that on a large scale; China and Korea.

If you’re looking to adopt a child from China or Korea, you might want to lay off the McGriddles for a while and get your ass on a treadmill. That’s right; they both have laws against overweight people adopting it’s children. These laws make perfect sense. If you can’t take care of yourself, how can you be expected to take care of a small child? Look at these overweight parents did:

What it really comes down to, however, is that these countries don’t trust fat people to do the right thing. The benefit is two fold since the children will be better off and they will have less fat people to deal with on a daily basis. It’s genius, really.
